This 4 CD BOX contains the worlds first complete musical interpretation of the poems from J.R.R. Tolkien’s masterpiece The Lord of the Rings set to music by Caspar Reiff e Peter Hall.
With permission from The Tolkien Estate 14 soloists and over 150 professional musicians take part in this major project.
The world famous actor Christopher Lee, known from George Lucas’ "Star Wars" and Peter Jackson’s "The Lord of the Rings" is narrator throughout the 4 CDs and even sings the character of Treebeard.
Here’s the chance to discover The Lord of the Rings in a new and exciting way from the cheerful folktunes in the beginning to the dramatic pieces in the end as the story develops.
As a special feature the booklet is illustrated by her majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. This is the first time her original illustrations are published.
